Marriott Maldives Resorts Shine in Condé Nast Traveller ME Awards

Marriott International has declared the Luxury Group resorts in the Maldives to win three categories in the first-ever Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Readers’ Choice Awards 2025. Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, JW Marriott Maldives Resort and Spa, and W Maldives were all featured under major categories, which indicated the good presence of the resorts among the travelers within the region.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands was ranked number two in Favorite Overseas Leisure Hotels category with JW Marriott Maldives Resort and Spa coming at number four. The two resorts still appeal to their guests through their elegant villas, creative cuisine and signature services that demonstrate the nature of the Maldivian island living. Kerry Hill Architects designed The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands which has a modern design inspired by ocean, whereas JW Marriott Maldives is characterized by huge overwater and beach pool villas and heartwarming and warm service.

Excellence in spa and wellness were also awarded. Ritz-Carlton Spa that has the iconic ring-shaped structure over an in-calm lagoon came fifth under the Favorite Destination Spas category. AWAY Spa W Maldives, known as a place with the panorama of the lagoons and the dynamic style of wellbeing was rated as the tenth.

The Maldives claimed its international attractiveness by becoming the most Favorite Overseas Leisure Destination, one of the things that has always been attractive to tourists in search of natural beauty and meaningful escape.
