
Minor Hotels has reinforced its leadership in the Maldives’ luxury resort scene, winning a series of top accolades at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025.
At the forefront was Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, which stood out with wins across five categories. Located in Baa Atoll, the resort ranked #5 Best Resort, #4 Best House Reefs, and also placed in the Top 5 for Best Resort Pool and Best Resort Spa. Its villas earned the #6 spot in the ‘Most Outrageous Villas’ list.
Recognition extended to other Minor Hotels resorts as well. Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort was named among the region’s best, securing the #8 spot in the ‘Best Resorts’ category.
In wellness, Anantara Veli Maldives Resort received high praise, with its Anantara Spa named the #4 Best Resort Spa in the Asia Pacific.
Niyama Private Islands Maldives also earned multiple mentions. Its ultra-luxurious villa cluster, The Crescent, placed #10 among the ‘Most Outrageous Villas’, while General Manager Hafidh Al Busaidy was honoured as the #5 Best General Manager in the Maldives.
