Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has completed the construction of GA. Kanduhulhudhoo Quay Wall ahead of schedule. In the press release by MTCC on 2nd May, the company also informed that the project, which was awarded on 27th March 2019, was estimated to be completed in 350 days.
MTCC was able to successfully complete the construction of a 414m quay wall; 220 m revetment; 10 m breakwater along with 16,322 cbm of dredging. Additionally, the construction of a ramp; installation of harbour lights and construction of 2,310 sqm of paved area were undertaken. The project cost MVR 37.2 million. It was estimated to cost MVR 35,933,872.16 before the construction.
