OZEN LIFE MAADHOO Unveils Barefoot Bistro at Hudhu Bay

ZEN LIFE MAADHOO has presented a new dimension of dining with opening of barefoot bistro at Hudson bay with a specialization on Sri Lankan Mud crab that is cooked in an international touch. The resort boasts of its prizewinning underwater restaurant M6m where once again the island gastronomy is redefined through the fusion of fine dining with toes-in-the-sand atmosphere.
Anupam Banjeree, the Vice President of Food & Beverage, explained the concept by saying the following:
On the ideal beach location, we were interested in turning the new HUDHU BAY on and making the dining establishment come alive with the new strategy in which we could anchor on sustainability. Based on the first nautical look, we had our hearts desire to make all things sustainable as far as the decoration to the food served like to take a fine dining experience to the beach and allow the guests to enjoy fine foods with no shoes and no fanfare and frills.
It will start with tropical welcome cocktails and a crab amuse-bouche to the diners who will be introduced to a menu of sustainably sourced Sri Lankan Mud Crab served in regional serves. Among them are À la Provençale Crab of southern France, Hong Kong Butter Garlic Crab, the famous Singaporean Chilli Crab, spicy Jaffna Spiced Crab, and Sri Lankan Scampi each dish is prepared with an aim of demonstrating the original methods and the use of high-quality fish in the area. At the end of the dinner, guests are welcomed to have their coffee and liqueurs under the stars in the beach.
The bistro is based on the beliefs of traceable and conservation making it a focus on sustainable gastronomy at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO. The new venue enhances the food variety of the resort, which has an excellent reputation in terms of culinary diversity, along with underwater dining at M6m, real Asian flavours at TRADITION PEKING, and Maldivian heritage dishes at LONU.
