Canareef Resort Maldives is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sherzod Berdov as its new Front Office Manager. Berdov, with 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, is set to bring his extensive knowledge and dedication to enhancing guest service at the resort.
Berdov's career began in 2011 at a pre-opening hotel in his hometown of Dushanbe, where he quickly rose to the position of Duty Manager. His quest for broader experience led him to the 5-star Redang Island Resort in Malaysia in 2014, where he spent nearly two years refining his skills.
Upon returning to Dushanbe in 2016, Berdov was promoted to Front Office Manager after initially serving as Assistant Front Office Manager. His role also encompassed eCommerce and Revenue management, reflecting his strategic acumen. Most recently, Berdov expanded his international experience at a 4-star resort in Seychelles.
Berdov holds a degree in Economics from Russian Slavonic University and a Hospitality Management degree from Cornell University, completed in 2020. He believes in the philosophy that “service comes from the heart and only people make the difference,” a belief that will guide his approach at Canareef Resort.
