STELCO Give Away LED Light bulbs

State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) made an announcement that the company is distributing LED lightbulbs to the public. The event is taking place on 18th January in Hulhumale from 9am to 5 30pm.

The company tweeted: “Visit our tents in Hulhumale and collect 4 lightbulbs free. Each person can collect a maximum 8 light bulbs” The public is required to bring their ID card with them and their own bags as plastic bags will not be distributed.

LEDs are the most energy-efficient way of lighting – they have an 80-90% efficiency, which means 80-90% of their energy is turned into light rather than heat. They are also durable and works in extreme temperatures. Using these lights will make your electricity bill lower and benefit the environment.
