Unveiling soon, Waldorf Astoria is bracing to welcome the globally acclaimed contemporary Japanese concept, Zuma, to the Indian Ocean. In a glamorous debut, this will add to Zuma’s expansive presence in 17 impeccable locations worldwide since inception in 2002 in London. Zuma will also be a distinctive addition to Waldorf Astoria Maldives’ selection of culinary experiences offered in this iconic resort.

Helmed by Rainer Becker, Zuma Maldives displays hints of Maldivian aspects extracted from its natural beauty, complementing the stunning ambiance of the location. A dramatic entrance and a majestic island bar and robata complete the restaurant setting where the sushi counter takes center stage. All offerings are inspired by the traditional Japanese award-winning izakaya.
