Sebastian Ellguth has been working in the hospitality industry under Marriott International’s umbrella for a little over a decade now. He has been seasoned with experience with brands such as Marriott Hotel Berlin, The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna and most recently The Abu Dhabi EDITION, where he held the position of the Assistant Director of Sales.
Stepping on to his new venture, Sebastian has joined the team at the 69-room Marriott property, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo as the new Director of Sales and will be overseeing the development of sales strategies for the resort.
Known to be hands-on in providing top-notch service, Sebastian will continue to be present in the outlets engaging and bonding with our vacationers as he believes that being a host to loyal guests is key to making and maintaining an impression.
Commenting on his appointment, Sebastian expressed his thrill and said, “I am confident that the team and I will continue its growth in the market and ensure a strategy for long lasting business relationships while we are leaving the difficult economic times behind us.”
Besides being a hotelier, Sebastian is also a passionate adventurer. From dune driving and camping in the Middle East, hiking and skiing in the Austrian Alps or a motorcycle trip through South East Asia, he is excited to horn his knowledge and skills on watersports in the alluring ocean playground of The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
